Karnataka Govt Launched schemes for Farmers.
1.Mukhya Mantri Raitha Vidya Nidhi
In this scheme awarding Govt will give the scholarships to children of farmers.
2. Raitha Shakti Yojana
Karnataka government has announced a Raitha Shakti Yojana to provide diesel subsidy to farmers.
3. Raitha Sanjeevini scheme
Name of the Department: Agricultural Marketing Department
Name of the Service: Raitha Sanjeevini
Whom to approach for this service (Designated Officer)?: Agricultural Produce Market Committee(General manager Secretary KSAMB)
Procedure involved to get this service: In case of accidents, the successors of the deceased person or the disabled person are eligible to submit an application under Raitha Sanjeevini Scheme. This has to be submitted within 100 days from the date of accident, to the concerned market committee along with the passport photo of the applicant.
Who are eligible to get this service: deceased person or the disabled person
Documents to be enclosed with the request:
1 . In case of death or disability of a person, gate pass or weighment slip or account settlement slip for having sold the produce grown by him, during the year of accident in a current year. (this condition is not applicable to small and marginal farmers)
2 . Certified copy of the voter list of the agriculturist constituency to the market committee where the farmer’s name is mentioned or the mutation record issued by the revenue department or certified copy of the rtc.
3 . In case of small and marginal farmers, small farmer’s certificate or certified copies of patta of the concerned farmer’s family.
4 . In case of disability due to accident, the certificate issued by the health and family welfare department for permanent disability shall be submitted. reasons for disability to be mentioned.
5 . In case of family members, the certified copy of the family tree issued by the revenue department or successors certificate issued by the secretary of the gram panchayat to be submitted.
6 . In case of death caused due to accident, certified copy of the fir by the circle inspector and certified copy of the postmortem report by the chief medical officer from the hospital where the post mortem has been done.
7 . Certified copy about the age of the person dead, disabled, issued by the medical officer of a government hospital or the school records certificate to be submitted.
8 . For the assistance under Raitha sanjeevini scheme, the farmer must be aged between 15 to 60 years.
9 . Certificate about not receiving any compensation from the agriculture department/electricity board/forest department.
10. All types of death cases including snake bite cases complete a police report under 174 of crpc and post master report from the medical officer of the concerned government hospital.

Maximum number of days to wait to get this service delivered: 50 Working Days
Whom to approach as an appeal (Competent Officer), if the service is not delivered in time or rejected by officer: Chief General Manager(KSAMB)
Maximum number of days to wait to get the decision of the Competent Officer: 15 Working Days
Whom to approach as 2nd appeal (Appellate Authority), if the decision of the Competent officer is not acceptable or not implemented?: Managing Director, Karnataka State Agricultural Marketing Board
Maximum no. of days to wait to get the decision of Appellate Authority: 15 working days
